Pledge to fix more roads now it's warmer
MORE than 10,000 potholes were fixed across Stoke-on-Trent over the past year and the city council is promising even more repairs as the weather gets warmer.
The authority has already budgeted £12 million to fix the roads and is negotiating with the government for more funding.
Last May, Stoke-on-Trent City Council set itself a target of fixing 6,000 road defects in six months following thousands of complaints about the state of local highways.
