Guiding stars light the way in marathon!

SISTERS Georgia and Libby Stephen completed the gruelling 26.2-mile London Marathon to give back to 'a charity close to our hearts.

The Girlguiding volunteers finished the iconic race from Greenwich to The Mall in six hours, five minutes and 24 seconds (Libby) and 6:18:53 (Georgia) - raising more than £3,200.

Now they hope their efforts will raise awareness of Girlguiding and what it can offer.

Georgia, unit leader for 1st Forsbrook Brownies, said: "Participating offered us the opportunity to give back to an organisation that has profoundly impacted our lives, while also raising awareness and funds to ensure that more girls have access to the empowering experiences that Girlguiding offers."
