Fighting spirit is embedded in Valiants side, says boss

DARREN Moore says a bit more care in the final third could have seen his Port Vale side return from AFC Wimbledon with three points.
Devante Cole’s 86th-minute leveller cancelled out Antwoine Hackford’s opener for the high-flying Dons.
However, Valiants boss Moore believes that his side’s performance warranted more.
"It would have been a travesty not to get something the way we have been the away team coming here,” Moore told Port Vale TV. “Against a team that with a win, could have potentially gone second in the league.
"I think it was half an hour on the clock when Wimbledon fashioned their first attempt on our goal, which speaks volumes for the boys in the way we came here and controlled the game.
"The first half we had enough chances and we should have gone in a goal or maybe two to the good, in terms of the areas we got into on the pitch. The second half they came out and started on the front foot for 15 to 20 minutes which we thought they would do but then we managed to get a bit of territory back into the game.
