'Fare dodgers' face £100 fine on busy route

New crackdown came into force yesterday
FARE dodgers can now be handed £100 fines on a busy train line through North Staffordshire and South Cheshire.
East Midlands Railway (EMR) has brought in the fines along the entirerity of its Nottingham to Crewe line.
The crackdown - which came into force on Sunday - affects passengers catching trains from Crewe, Alsager, Kidsgrove, Stoke, Longton and Blythe Bridge stations.
