Family's thanks to hospital as 'little angel' Gracie-May loses cancer battle

A GRIEF-stricken couple have embarked on a mission to turn their pain into positivity - after their daughter tragically passed away.

Gracie-May Roberts was just four years old when she lost her fight against liver cancer in February.

Parents Sarah Young and Andrew Roberts had thought she was a perfectly healthy little girl - until a visit to the Royal Stoke University Hospital in 2021 turned their 'world upside down.

Sarah, of Knutton, said: "She had a bit of a lump on her chest. She didn’t really have any big symptoms or anything, she was just a little bit lethargic and poorly. Nothing seriously wrong to make us really worry. But we took her up to A&E to have her looked at - and that's when they found out she had cancer.
