'Drains need to be brought into the 21st century'

Mum is fed-up of constant flooding

MUM-OF-THREE Cecilia Okoye is demanding action to end constant flooding outside her home.

The 42-year-old lives in rented accomodation in Birches Head Road, Birches Head.

But she says there is a problem with the drain outside her home and every time it rains her path floods. It is so bad she has to put up flood gates and pile up sandbags every time there is a downpour which leaves her unable to use her front door.

Landlord Staffs Housing, Stoke-on-Trent City Council, and Severn Trent Water have so far failed to solve the issue.
