Dancing cupcakes and children in duck hats to join musicians and dancers as venue hosts city's celebratory centenary bash

ONE hundred dancing cupcakes will help to get people in a celebratory mood as Stoke-on-Trent's eagerly-anticipated centenary celebrations climax with a Party in the Park.

They will be joined by kids in yellow duck hats, a towering Spirit of Stoke puppet, dancers and musicians at the free afternoon music festival in Hanley Park on June 7.

Now Stoke-on-Trent City Council is urging people to join in the fun.
