Teen used glass as weapon in pub attack
TEENAGER Olivia Forrester used a glass as a ‘weapon and a missile’ when trouble erupted in a city pub.
The 18-year-old became involved in an assault on a woman at The Pool Dole pub in Fenton. She was holding a glass which smashed and caused injuries to the woman.
And when being interviewed by a probation officer, the defendant said she would rather be in bed than attending the meeting.
Now Forrester has been sentenced to 17 weeks in a young offenders’ institution at North Staffordshire Justice Centre.
But an immediate appeal was made and Forrester was bailed pending an appeal against sentence at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court.
