Money from developer means charity can stock emergency food bank for a year

- Sentinel Reporter

HOMELESS people will be able to access an emergency food pantry for the next 12 months - thanks to a builder's £1,500 donation.

Trentham-based Concrete provides specialist homelessness support, including supported accommodation and helps men, women and young people maintain their tenancies.

Now it has received the cash from Barratt Homes, which is developing a site close to its premises.

Senior operations manager Dean Marsh said it was 'incredibly grateful for the donation. He added: "Thanks to their support, we'll be able to keep our emergency food pantry stocked for over 12 months, ensuring our customers have continued access to essential food and nonperishable items."
