Robins says there's plenty more to come from Cisse after his impressive display against Oxford
STRIKE: Lamine Cisse celebrates putting Stoke ahead against Oxford.
MARK Robins hopes Lamine Cisse 'should be off and running' as Stoke City head to Coventry on the back of a much-needed win.
Cisse, playing at centre-forward, scored his first league goal for Stoke in the 2-1 victory over Oxford on Wednesday night.
He broke away onto an excellent pass from Million Manhoef to finish a one-on-one in the first half at the bet365 Stadium.
Jesurun Rak-Sakyi sealed the win after Ciaron Brown had pulled one back for the visitors.
It was a big night for Cisse, aged 23, and he earned a standing ovation when he was substituted in added time at the end of the second half.
"He was on his feet," said Robins, who takes his team to Coventry tomorrow (3pm).
