Be prepared for the brilliant transformation of scout hut

'ABOVE AND BEYOND': Lilian Dodd with Andy Hart of Wood Street Maintenance after the toilets were renovated at Dresden Scouts and Community Hall.

A SCOUT hall has received a major makeover - thanks to a partnership between a local business and Stoke-on-Trent City Council.

Dresden Scouts and Community Hall now boasts refurbished toilets thanks to city-based Wood Street Maintenance.

The work was donated as part of their contract with the city council's Repairs and Maintenance Service.

The work included plastering, new flooring, new sanitary wear, vanity units, new doors, lighting and full decorating.

The hall in Wise Street, near Belgrave Road, is home to the Dresden Scout Group, part of the Three Towns Scouts.
