There are ways to address climate change. The business sector, for instance, is making significant strides by placing sustainability at its core.
Many companies worldwide have pledged to adopt eco-friendly practices. These include transitioning to renewable resources, advocating for greener initiatives, and offering customers the best service with minimal environmental impact.
In the Philippines, three leaders have stepped up to promote various sustainable initiatives, setting examples for the rest of the business community to follow.
GLOBE TELECOM The Standard Insights 2024 Consumer Choice Awards recognizes Globe Telecom as this year's "Most Sustainable Brand."
The prestigious accolade was earned through Globe's efforts to transition 27 high-energy utilization facilities to renewable energy, integrate solar hybrid gensets and onsite solar panels across various sites, and deploy over 9,000 green network solutions.
Globe ensures that its supply chain also shares the same vision. Through the launch of Sustainable Supply Chain Academy, the company educates its vendors on how to save the planet by unlearning poor business practices.
