Sparkle GMA artist Aya Domingo wants to try action

Aya Domingo is among the teen artists of GMA who have graced the small screen to learn the ropes of show business and find their niche in it.

So far, the lass from Cavite has shown her talent for acting. “I was part of ‘Mga Batang Riles,’ and I have an upcoming project, ‘Never Say Die,’ where I play the best friend role of Ate Jillian Ward,” said Aya in a recent group interview for her brand endorsement with Pampercity by Owemji, which offers varied aesthetics services. “Talso have guestings in shows like ‘“MPK’ (Magpakailantnan) and ‘Regal Studio Presents.”

She has recently appeared in the latter’s “Instant Ate” episode.

In ‘Mga Batang Riles,’ she was paired with Anton Vinzon and played Barbie, the love interest of his character Dagul, one of the underprivileged boys in the drama-action story. In a previous article, Aya said that acting is a childhood dream, and her inspiration to enter show business is also to help her family.

Aside from acting, she attends workshops, which ready her for future projects on TV.

“Now, I’m focusing more on acting workshops. If there’s no taping, I want to attend acting workshops,” added she. “Mas gusto kong mas matuto pa dun and gusto ko ding bumalik sa, nag-MMA po kasi ako (I want to learn more and return to doing mixed martial arts), at yun talaga yung gustong gusto kong i-pursue pa.”
