QC gov't supports OSAEC victims

Following the recent arrest of a woman accused of trafficking her minor children to a foreigner, the Quezon City government yesterday committed to support victims of online sexual abuse and exploitation of children or OSAEC.

In a statement, the local government expressed regret over the arrest of a woman in Quezon City for explicitly offering minors for sexual exploitation.

The woman was arrested during an operation conducted by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on Sept. 18, in coordination with the local police and the city’s social welfare and development office.
