Phl, Cambodia sign 5 business deals

Five business deals covering aviation, logistics, women-led micro, small and medium enterprises, exports and partnerships for business associations have been signed by the Philippines and Cambodia.

Returning to Manila yesterday after his three-day state visit to Phnom Penh, President Marcos described as "productive" his engagement with top business leaders in Cambodia.

"Our discussion resulted in strategic partnerships through the signing of five business agreements," the President said as he and his delegation arrived at Villamor Air Base in Pasay City.

Malacañang has yet to detail the business deals mentioned by the President.

Marcos said he had a "constructive exchange" with acting Head of State and Senate President Hun Sen and Prime Minister Hun Manet on advancing bilateral relations.

"We highlighted our collective interest to bolster intra-ASEAN trade through enhancing market access," the President said, referring to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
