'PBB' housemate Josh Ford wishes to star in rom-com, become leading man
The Philippine Star
|July 23, 2025
Josh Ford was one of the promising stars who heeded the call and accepted the challenge of being a housemate in the successful "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition."
Before entering the famous "Bahay ni Kuya," Josh was acting in the Kapuso Public Affairs weekend youth-oriented series, "MAKA."
And when he wrapped up his stay in the house, he and his character named Josh Taylor made a return to "MAKA." Like all the other Sparkle "PBB" housemates, Josh simply picked up where he left off.
"After getting out of 'PBB,' I went back to 'MAKA,'" said the Sparkle GMA artist in an interview with this paper.
His character, Josh Taylor, has become more down-to-earth, opening up to fellow students and classmates at the MAKA high academy upon his return, said the young actor. Initially, the character was crafted as "mayabang" and "maangas" (conceited and arrogant).
Although he is not yet privy to other details about his role, Josh shared that televiewers should watch out for some developments in the character's family life (like Josh Taylor's connection to Miss Chinchin, who runs a boardinghouse) and brewing romance with Zeph or someone else.
