Next level kilig, shocking revelations await viewers in 'Ang Mutya ng Section E' Book 2

Aside from “next-level kilig,” viewers can expect more shocking revelations and “darker” portrayals of characters from the Book 2 of Viva One's hit series “Ang Mutya ng Section E.”

Titled “Ang Mutya ng Section E: The Dark Side,” Ashtine Olviga, Andres Muhlach and Rabin Angeles reprised their roles as Jay-Jay, Keifer and Yuri, respectively, in the much-anticipated return of the series now streaming on Viva One.

During the show’s grand media conference, the lead cast shared what fans can look forward to from their characters and the series itself.

“Maybe the dark side of the characters and the revelations,” began Ashtine. “Also the revelations from the family. You will also see how Jay-Jay is affected, and how she learns to accept and handle the revelations she discovers.”

The biggest revelations for Keifer are the issues within his family, Andres chimed in. “Like what he went through, through his childhood and how that affects (him), how he is as a person in the story. I think that's really the lesson of what the ‘dark side’ is and what the life story is.”

“Yuri will do everything to get Jay-Jay and prove that he is better than Keifer,” added Rabin.

Beyond the surprising plot turns, the kilig between Ashtine and Andres characters is still very much alive, even off-camera, as direk Petersen Vargas (“Un/Happy For You,” “A Very Good Girl”) attested.
