Mark Villar rallies monsoon relief response

As heavy rains from the intensified southwest monsoon or habagat, and recent typhoons continue to batter Metro Manila and various parts of Luzon, thousands of families have been displaced by severe flooding and landslides.

In response to the crisis, Sen. Mark Villar has launched swift relief operations to support affected communities.

"It's heartbreaking to witness the suffering of our fellow Filipinos caught in these relentless rains," Villar said in a statement, expressing his deep concern for displaced residents who were forced to leave their homes and possessions behind.

Mobilizing his team immediately, Villar oversaw the distribution of essential relief goods — including rice, canned food, noodles, and clean drinking water — to evacuees and residents stranded by floodwaters.
