Marcos ally linked to subpar Kennon rock shed
The Philippine Star
|August 26, 2025
Engineer Francis Cuyop, a member of President Marcos' Partido Federal ng Pilipinas, is the owner of contracting firm 3K Rock Engineering, which built the P260-million rock shed along Kennon Road in Tuba, Benguet.
Marcos earlier described the rock shed as "useless" as it did not prevent a massive rockslide when Typhoon Emong hit the country in July.
Cuyop lost to Ifugao Rep. Solomon Chungalao in the May midterm elections.
