First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos met with leaders and advocates to map out a holistic plan to save the lives of Filipino children in urgent need of liver transplants.

The initiative will first provide funding support for children requiring immediate surgery, and in its second phase, build local capacity by training Filipino doctors and hospitals so that biliary atresia-related liver transplants can soon be done in the Philippines.
