LTO intensifies road monitoring to ease holiday traffic

Land Transportation Office chief Vigor Mendoza II yesterday ordered LTO personnel to intensify road visibility amid the expected surge of vehicles during the holiday rush.
Mendoza tasked LTO enforcers to focus the road safety operation on trucks through the deployment of more personnel on usual routes in Metro Manila.
Mendoza said the deployment of LTO personnel should be done at night and early morning, the time when truck bans are lifted by local government units (LGUs).
