Marcos' eldest son, Ilocos Norte Rep. Sandro Marcos, thanked him for everything he has done for the country and for their family, including his constant guidance.
-
"It's an honor for me to learn from you on a daily basis. And thank you for everything that you do for the country, and for standing up for what you believe is right. For being resolute in the face of adversity. And I hope that despite your busy, busy schedule that you can at least hopefully find some time to rest," the lawmaker said in a video posted on the President's YouTube vlog.
"I couldn't ask for a better dad. I couldn't ask for a better mentor. And I couldn't ask for anyone better than you to work with. So, thank you for imparting your wisdom to me," he added.
Simon, his second son, said the President is the best possible father he could ever have.
"Thank you so much for being there. I couldn't have gone anywhere without you. I love you so much. And I hope you are having the best Father's Day possible. Love you to bits," he said.
