Justice sought for missing Pasig condo cats
The Philippine Star
|June 29, 2025
Sen. Grace Poe has expressed alarm over the case of missing cats at a condominium in Pasig.
The group "Cats of Satori" — formed by cat lovers of Satori Residences — said "a number of community cats we've cared for have gone missing — some quietly, others under unclear and concerning circumstances" from January to June this year.
The missing cats are Lucy, Pia, Abner, Darcy, Albus, FC, Bella, Luna, Ginger, Pearl, Atlas, Hershey and Carrot, according to the group's social media card on Facebook.
"We don't know. But we know this: they matter," the group said.
Poe, who sponsored in the Senate the approved bill seeking to add more teeth to the Animal Welfare law, said "the plea of condominium owners in Pasig City about their missing cats should not fall on deaf ears."
