Jetour X70 Lightning i-DM—Media Drive Highlights Value-for-Money Features
The Philippine Star
|July 28, 2025
Members of the local motoring media experienced firsthand the numerous value-for-money advantages the Jetour X70 Lightning i-DM brought to the table, in a fun and relaxing drive from Jetour Auto Quezon Avenue to the Acea Subic Beach Resort in Subic Bay, Zambales Province.
-
The 3-hour, or 160-km, ride from Metro Manila to the beach resort highlighted the comfort and spaciousness of the 7-seater SUV for the 40 participating members, who drove a convoy of 15 Jetour X70 Lightning i-DM units. Those who rode in the 2nd and 3rd row seats saw for themselves how generous the SUV's interior space was. When the 3rd row seats were folded down, the space equivalent to a double bed was instantly available.
Those who got behind the wheel of the Jetour X70 Lightning i-DM felt firsthand the high-performance capabilities of the hybrid SUV, the responsiveness and acceleration (0 to 100 kph in 7.7 seconds) enabled the drivers to keep in pace with the stop-and-go traffic of Metro Manila, cruise effortlessly on the tollways, and run consistently and confidently on the scenic and rolling Zambales mountain range.
Hybrid Efficiency That Goes the Distance
The convoy certainly needed no fuel stops once the trip got going. The participants experienced the fuel efficiency and long-range capability of the Jetour X70 Lightning i-DM hybrid system. On a full charge and with a full tank of gas, the SUV can run for 110 km on electric mode, and up to 1,200 kms using the i-DM hybrid system, for an average of 5.2 liters for every 100 km. The group had plenty of fuel to spare when they returned to Manila.
