House prosecutors ask Senate for impeach trial 'work area'

The prosecution team of the House of Representatives has formally asked the Senate to provide them an office space where they can work, in preparation for the tentative July 30 impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte.
House Secretary General Reginald Velasco wrote Senate President Francis Escudero on March 5 requesting for a “holding and work area” for the prosecutors and the House Secretariat Support Group for the duration of the impeachment trial.
Velasco further requested an inspection of the designated room on March 11 to ensure it meets the needs of the prosecution team.
