EEI makes stronger push for new growth platforms

Construction giant EEI Corp. is making a stronger push for its new growth platforms.
In a stock exchange filing, EEI said that its board approved the consolidation of two wholly owned subsidiaries, EEl Ltd. and EEI Realty Corp., under EEI Ventures Inc. (EVI).
The consolidation will be achieved through a share swap agreement, in which EVI will issue 300 million shares to EEI in exchange for 100 percent of EEI Ltd. and EEI Realty.
EVlis the company’s designated investment and holding company for its real estate and emerging businesses.
EEI said the move is intended to sharpen strategic focus, improve governance and enhance long-term value creation.
