'DON'T CHASE, ATTRACT': BEA ALONZO OFFERS GLIMPSE INTO HER 'CALM' LOVE LIFE

Bea Alonzo, who is turning 38 this month, has expressed her gratitude and 'birthday wish.' 'I'm very grateful for everything I have right now. I just really want to be able to enjoy this calm and this part of my life,' the My Diamond brand ambassador says.

It's about time, isn't it? After all, in her words, she's been working straight and nonstop for nearly 25 years now.

"Right now, I'm really focusing on business and my personal life. I just realized I've been in the business for almost 25 years — February of next year, to be exact—and I haven't really given time for myself."

She acknowledged that, for the longest time, she had been such a stickler for schedules.

These days, however, she appears more relaxed, with more and more sightings of her and her businessman beau Vincent Co together, whether at airports or at each other's special events.

"(Before) I know my schedule kung ano ang gagawin ko (or) what I will do next week or next month. Not that I resent it because it helped me a lot, ang daming nabigay na positive things sa buhay ko. But at the same time, I feel like I owe it to myself because I'm turning 38 already this month (Oct. 17)," she said.

"So feeling ko, I also have to give it to myself. To be able to have that small free time to choose what I want to do next month and not have to, like, ask anybody for permission."
