DOH Ready to Face Senate Probe on Leptospirosis

The Department of Health (DOH) is prepared to face a Senate investigation into the surge of leptospirosis cases in Metro Manila and nearby areas following massive flooding caused by monsoon rain recently.
According to Health Assistant Secretary Albert Domingo, the DOH will work with senators to find a better solution to the leptospirosis surge.
"The DOH looks forward to working with our legislators in their advocacies for better health for all Filipinos," Domingo said in a statement yesterday.
