DMCI, EEI bag P5.1-B contracts for Cavitex links

The Metro Pacific Group has awarded P5.09 billion in contracts to build connector roads for the Manila-Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX) to D.M. Consunji Inc.

DMCI, EEI bag P5.1-B contracts for Cavitex links

(DMCI) and EEI Corp. Metro Pacific subsidiary Cavitex Infrastructure Corp. (CIC), the concessionaire for CAVITEX, is scheduled to start in June the civil works for CAVITEX links to C5 Road and to Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX).

In line with this, CIC awarded to DMCI the P3.3 billion contract to put up Segment 3B, the final portion of the CAVITEX C5 Link.

Once the section is completed, motorists may travel from Cavite to Taguig City without having to go through service roads. CIC president and general manager Raul Ignacio said DMCI would be given 450 days to finish the segment, or until August 2025.
