Culturefest: Discover the Creative Heart of the Philippines
The Philippine Star
|May 10, 2025
There's no better way to spend a Saturday than enjoying great art, music, and culture.
On April 26, the PhilSTAR Media Group (PMG) and Robinsons Destination Estates made that dream weekend a reality with the Nakakalocal Gen Y to Z: Culture Fest.
This event championed Filipino talent and creativity, featuring a vibrant lineup of local artists, artisans, and over 80 merchants nationwide.
"Tangkilikin natin ang tatak Pinoy," Lucien Dy Tioco, PMG's executive vice-president, remarked. "That's the very essence of this celebration: to support our local entrepreneurs and celebrate our rich Filipino culture."
JAMS AND LIVE PERFORMANCES
After sunset, the Bridgetowne Open Grounds in Pasig City came alive with enchanting performances by singer-songwriter Santy Leonardo, indie artist Nico Frayn, and alternative rock band HUNYO.
The festival gave over 2,500 attendees the chance to see and hear their favorite idols live. It also partnered with organizations like New Pinoy Music Collective, Musikerong PAGODt, and Songwriters' Society Philippines to make the evening truly unforgettable.
CultureFest's Himig at Tinig featured P-POP groups Raya, CALISTA, Press Hit Play, and solo artists Martin Venegas, Ace Banzuelo, Clara Benin, Syd Hartha, and Jolianne.
No celebration is complete without bands. Tothapi, Rise High, and dance group Upeepz added the perfect touch to cap off the night.
