Comelec says 95% ready for election day

With less than two months before the May 12 midterm polls, the Commission on Elections yesterday said it is 95 percent ready for election day.

"More or less, we are 90 to 95 percent prepared. The ballots are ready and these are just undergoing verification process," Comelec Chairman George Garcia said in a radio interview.

He also said they expect the printing of the voters' information sheet (VIS) to be completed before the month ends.
