Caritas Manila to hold telethon for scholars

Caritas Manila, the lead social services and development ministry of the Catholic Church, will hold its annual Youth Servant Leadership and Education Program (YSLEP) Telethon on Monday, June 16.
-
The event will be broadcast live from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. via Radio Veritas 846 and streamed online through dzRV 846 and Caritas Manila's official Facebook page.
This year, the telethon aims to raise funds for 4,465 YSLEP scholars, with 1,315 students expected to graduate by the end of School Year 2024-2025.
Among them are 144 YSLEP-Gen129 scholars enrolled in agriculture, an initiative that supports Caritas Manila's advocacy for food security.
