BEAUTY QUEENS SHARE SECRETS ON HOW TO LOOK RADIANT ON THE RED CARPET
The Philippine Star
|June 10, 2025
Pageantry enthusiasts around the globe recognize that the Philippines is a powerhouse of beauty queens.
While the "Big Four" pageants—Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss International, and Miss Earth—remain, numerous international competitions are held annually. We have garnered nine international 2025 pageant titles already: Miss Chinatown Global Khryss Go, Miss Youth International Meggan Shinew, Miss Independent International Weskin Pacalso, Miss Queen of the World Rein Gonzales, Miss Elite Global Francine Tajanlangit, Reina Hispanoamericana Dia Mate, Miss Eco International Alexie Brooks, Miss Aura International Krishan Alerre, and Miss Orient Tourism Global Patricia Bangug. There are seven months left in 2025 and more pageants to conquer.
We know that a whole team of stylists, mentors, and coaches support each of these contestants. For many years, participating in pageants has honed their skills and polished their confidence, but how do they prepare to walk red carpet events, especially those booked only a few weeks ahead? We asked several queens, and four readily answered.
Let's start with the newly crowned Miss Orient Tourism Global Patricia Anne Nichole Bangug of Pangasinan. Her win is historic, as she is the winner of the inaugural Miss Orient Tourism Global pageant. She will promote cultural ambassadorship, global peace, and responsible tourism.
