BBM calls off US trip for UN General Assembly

President Marcos has canceled his trip to New York this week for the upcoming United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), with Malacañang saying he decided "to focus on local issues.
Marcos and his delegation were originally scheduled to leave on Friday for the 80th session of the UNGA. The high-level international gathering runs from Sept. 23 to 27 and 29.
