Alodia Reflects on Motherhood Journey: It's Super Rewarding
The Philippine Star
|June 09, 2025
Alodia Gosiengfiao-Quimbo has been gushing about motherhood since welcoming her firstborn son, Cameron, with businessman-husband Christopher Quimbo. The popular content creator and cosplayer gave birth to Cameron in November last year.
The STAR caught up with Alodia at the grand opening of Midnight Dream Studio, a concept studio situated at the K-Park, On Top of The Glo, Glorietta Mall in Makati.
"Motherhood has changed me a lot. It's really a lot of planning and partnership with my husband and it's a different feeling if you care for someone, especially your child," she said in an exclusive interview.
"The most challenging part really is yung sinasabi nila na nauubusan ka ng time. It's true because you really spend time with your baby and whatnot but it's like super rewarding and you lose track of time. (His) smiles, laughter, sobrang saya," she added.
On what types of parents they are to Cameron, Alodia said, "As much as I wanted to be balanced, I think for now we kind of spoil him with stuff because he doesn't know much pa naman. So, maybe in the future, we will balance that."
At an early age, Alodia noticed that her son was drawn to music.
"My mom tried to sing to him and then he was trying to make sabay. It's really cute," she enthused.
She believed that Cameron inherited such interest from his dad.

REDISCOVERING JOY IN 'A CHRISTMAS CAROL'
The audience at the Proscenium Theater may see a lot of the country’s political crisis and social discontent in the bleak winter landscape of Charles Dicken’s London of 1854, transposed into a stage backdrop of ominous Victorian houses, but they certainly came to escape all that, children in tow, to revel in a fantasy holiday tale with infectious melodies, soaring orchestral music and spectacular production numbers which A Christmas Carol, presented by Rockwell and 9Works Theatrical, ultimately delivered.
