2GO Program to Produce 20K Ship Workers by 2026

Shipping giant 2GO Group Inc. has launched a new program that aims to bridge the employment gap for Filipinos who dream of building a career in the maritime industry.
2GO said its new partnership with job platform WorkAbroad.ph would offer a training course called Enrollment to Employment (E2E) Program, specifically designed to accelerate the careers of hospitality and maritime students.
In an interview with reporters aboard 2GO's MV Masagana, 2GO senior assistant vice president and head of travel Francis Chua said E2E aims to train at least 20,000 students by 2026.
