Need permanent solution to Indo- China border issue: Rajnath

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh batted for a permanent solution to border demarcation is-sue between India and China during his meeting with his Chinese counterpart Admiral Dong Jun.
The two met on the side-lines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Defence Ministers' Meeting in Qingdao, China, Thursday.
The Defence Ministry in a statement said the two ministers held in-depth discussions on the need to maintain peace and tranquility along the Indo-China border.
Singh acknowledged the work being undertaken by both sides to bring back a semblance of normalcy in the bilateral relations.
