Make environment conservation a daily habit: BVP Taushi Shakha

Jammu Tawi: Taushi Shakha of Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP), Jammu has appealed to the people to not only celebrate the World Environment Day as a ritual, but also make environment conservation an integral part of their daily life.

Taushi Shakha of Bharat Vikas Parishad, Jammu and Kashmir Prant, in collaboration with Samiksha, the Society for Promotion of Inclusive and Sustainable Development, had an inclusive way of celebrating the World Environment Day 2025. The venue was the Ranbir Canal side busy and bustling vegetable and fruit market area near the Muthi Camp bridge on Jammu-Akhnoor Road. Aligned with this year’s global theme, “End Plastic Pollution,” members of Taushi Shakha of BVP, Samiksha and other prominent volunteers raised awareness among the large flow of buyers, most of whom traditionally carry vegetables and fruits in polythene bags, about the harmful effects of plastic on our environment.
