Sources said that Kumar's security drill has been enhanced keeping in view threats posed to him by elements inimical to India both within and outside the country.

The sources, while giving the details of the security drill for Kumar, said the MHA has entrusted the CRPF to depute a contingent of about 40-45 commandos, who would soon take over his security. At any given point of time Kumar will be guarded by around 36 CRPF commandos, they added.
