PIL challenges cancellation of NEET-SS exam

SUPREME Court on Friday issued notice to the Centre and sought its response after hearing a Public Interest Litigation, which challenged the cancellation of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Super Specialty (NEET-SS) exam for 2024.
The court was not initially inclined to hear the PIL filed under Article 32, but later a three-judge bench led by Chief Justice DY Chandrachud and comprising Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra took it up for hearing
