THE National Council for Education Research & Training (NCERT) has found itself in controversy yet again
The council introduced reading modules for middle school students on India's successful Chandrayaan-3 mission. While the module, 'Chandrayaan Utsav', aims at creating awareness among the students, it has mixed science with mythology, which has irked many in the scientific community.
The module was released by Union Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan on October 17 in New Delhi in the presence of Isro Chairman, S Somanath.
