Shiv Sena (UBT) to contest 21 seats, Congress 17 and Pawar's NCP 10 across 48 Maharashtra constituencies
UDDHAV Thackeray and his Shiv Sena (UBT) will lead the Maha Vikas Aghadi's Lok Sabha campaign in Maharashtra.
Of the 48 seats from the state, Uddhav's party will contest 21 seats, Congress 17 and the Sharad Pawar-led NCP 10.
The MVA on Tuesday announced its seat-sharing formula at a joint presser attended by NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray and state Congress president Nana Patole. The Congress gave up its claim on the contentious Sangli and Bhiwandi seats, which will now be contested by the Sena (UBT) and the NCP (SP).
