Improper lighting at A'palem bus bay flagged

RESIDENTS and daily commuters in Visakhapatnam have raised concerns over the lack of proper lighting at the Akkayyapalem bus bay, causing inconvenience, especially during evening and night hours.

Poor visibility has made it difficult to identify buses, leading to confusion and delays, while also raising safety concerns, particularly for women and students.

Srujana, a college student, shared, "It's so dark I can't even make out which bus is stopping here. It is unsafe, especially for women, and I urge the concerned department to address the issue immediately."
