AIADMK Puducherry State Secretary A Anbazhagan met Chief Minister N Rangasamy on Sunday, urging the introduction of public welfare schemes in the upcoming Assembly budget session, considering the UT's financial situation.
He emphasised the need for full implementation of previously announced schemes and highlighted power cuts, suggesting free inverters for BPL families. He proposed providing ₹15,000 inverters under a scheme named after the CM's mother, Panchali Ammal.
