India Inc revenue growth remains in the slow lane

THE dichotomy of slowing top-line growth and bulging bottom lines continued into the just-concluded June quarter growth, with revenue inching up only 4-6%, down from 7% in the previous two quarters.
Net income growth printing was in a sustainable double-digit growth of 11%. In the past fiscal, net income surged by 19% while revenue inched up 7.6%. But the June quarter also saw India Inc reporting the slowest year-on-year net profit growth in eight quarters (since June 2023), while revenue growth was the weakest in the past three quarters.
