A group of MLAs from the erstwhile undivided Anantapur district has appealed to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to facilitate the renewal of the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) licence for the Rural Development Trust (RDT), an organisation serving rural communities across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

The group, comprising MLAs Kalava Srinivasulu, Paritala Sunitha, Bandaru Sravani, Amilineni Surendra Babu and Daggupati Venkateswara Prasad, met the Chief Minister at the State Secretariat, and submitted a memorandum outlining their concerns.
