BRS MLAs denounce MoUs with Adani

SEVERAL Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLAs and MLCs, including party working president KT Rama Rao and former minister T Harish Rao, were taken into custody on Monday when they tried to attend the first day of the winter session of the State Legislature wearing T-shirts opposing the Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) signed by the Telangana government with the Adani Group.
The Bharat Rashtra Samithi legislators paid floral tributes at the Martyrs Memorial near Gun Park and later started proceeding towards the Assembly. However, the police stopped them and took them into preventive custody. They were released later. The T-shirts worn by the Bharat Rashtra Samithi legislators contained the slogan "Adani-Revanth Bhai Bhai".
