AS part of the Accident-free Month campaign, Vellore traffic police, spearheaded by the Gudiyatham unit, have initiated efforts to empower the Narikuravar community of Agaramcheri village.

Around 20 members of the community were issued driving licenses, vehicle insurance, and helmets on Friday, ensuring they can travel safely and lawfully. Alongside facilitating the process, the police conducted specialised awareness sessions on traffic rules and road safety, equipping participants with essential knowledge for responsible road usage.
