Power outage hits 600 families, Ambur residents stage protest

AROUND 40 residents of Jawaharlal Nehru Nagar in Ambur staged a protest in their neighbourhood on Saturday afternoon as the electricity supply to the around 600 households was not restored for 24 hours after a transformer broke down on Friday around 2.30 pm.
