Cash-for-jobs scam: SC stays HC order for CBI probe into ex-AIADMK minister

IN a major relief to former AIADMK minister K T Rajenthra Bhalaji, the Supreme Court on Monday stayed a Madras High Court order directing a CBI probe into the corruption allegations against him in connection with a cash-for-job scam case.
A division bench of the apex court comprising Justice Pankaj Mithal and Justice SVN Bhatti passed the order while hearing two pleas, including the one filed by the Tamil Nadu government against the HC's decision.
